The current expo centre sits on the original site of the Greene County Fairgrounds - a family friendly event we still host to this day

Located in beautiful Xenia, Ohio, the Greene County Expo Center is a modern, state-of-the-art international conference center. Our dedicated team are devoted to promoting Xenia and the many local and national events that take place here. Between 2001 and 2019, we have brought over $20 million to the local community and surrounding areas.

With over 38 acres of beautiful green space for your delegates to enjoy, Greene County Expo Center is the perfect choice for events welcoming up to 30,000 guests.

The Greene County Expo Center is proud to be the home of Home of The Greene County Fair, the Great Ohio Toy Show, Vintage Market Days of Dayton Cincinnati, Dayton Honor Flight, Dayton Hamvention, and Dayton International Festival to name a few.

A Brief Introduction

1833 Greene County Agricultural Society founded

1837 The first Greene County Fair took place - considered by many to be the oldest fair west of the Alleghenies

1839 The Greene County Fair becomes an annual event, to this day

1867 The Greene County Agricultural Society bought 36.30 acres of the present grounds

2000 Extensive damage caused by tornado, resulting in 17 buildings completely destroyed

2001 Renovations and rebuilding completed. Modern event facilities for up to 30,000 attendees added. Extensive beautification of surrounding grounds and camping area.

2017 The annual Dayton Hamvention attracted over 20,000 amateur radio enthusiasts from around the world

2019 The first annual Great Ohio Toy Show

Expo Center Manager

Born and bred in Xenia, Rodney graduated from The Greene County Career Center and Xenia High School before running his own successful electrical company.

For over 20 years, he has not only kept the expo center best in its class, he’s also been the electrician too! If you need any advice or help, Rodney is your man.

In his spare time, he loves spending time with his grandson and enjoying a few rounds of golf.

Office Manager

Morgan is the office manager here at Greene County and a lifelong fan of the Greene County Fair.

A real animal lover, she’s studying to become a Veterinary Technician at Penn Foster. Morgan started as a clover-bud and was a part of 4-H for 10 years and she still loves watching others show their animals at the fair.

She’s here to make sure your event goes smoothly and your guests enjoy their visit with us.
