4 Paws for Ability trains and places service dogs with children and veterans with disabilities. The cost to train and place a service dog is $40,000 to $60,000. Fundraisers such as the 4 Paws 5K help us raise money to continue our mission! Thank you for your support!

Race info

The 5K and mile walk will be held at the Greene County Expo Center in Xenia, Ohio on Saturday, June 25, 2022. After the race, check out the crafters and vendors at Zinnia Days in the Expo Center and then come tour the new addition to the 4 Paws campus just a five minute drive away! 

This is a dog friendly event; dogs must be fully vaccinated, on leash, and be able to behave well around other dogs.

7am Registration and packet pick up opens

9am One Mile Walk start

9am Zinnia Days Craft and Vendor Show

12pm Tours at 4 Paws (*Sign up required)

Registration Fees 5K
$30 - Early Bird Now through May 1 (race shirt, finisher medal, custom race bib guaranteed)
$35 - May 2 through May 23 (race shirt, finisher medal, custom race bib guaranteed)
$40 - May 24 to race day (race bib only)

~VIP Option~ Now through May 23 (extra swag in addition to race shirt, finisher medal, custom race bib; $10 gift card to Young's Dairy, end of race chair massages provided by Medical Massage Associates, LLC, sponsor swag, and a dog tag medal for your furry sidekick for the first 50 VIPs registered) $60

Virtual option
Want to support the race but not able to attend in person? Register for the virtual option by May 23 and pick up your race items at 4 Paws on June 24 or choose to have them mailed to you. Cost for shipping and handling will be $5. Items will be mailed out by June 17 but not guaranteed to arrive by June 25. 

Packet pickup

Packet pickup for the mile and 5K has been scheduled for Friday, June 25 from 8am-6pm at 4 Paws for Ability. You can also pick up your packet on race morning beginning at 7am.

Please note: Packet pick up on Friday is for the One Mile Walk and 5K only if you purchased your race package prior to May 24.

Medals

New this year! Those registered for the 5K before May 24 will receive a 4 Paws 5K 2021 finisher medal.

No refunds! Shirts and medals will not be mailed (unless paid for during registration) or available for pick up beyond the date of the race.
