Mission: is to take veterans of the WWII, Korean Era, and Vietnam Era wars to see their national memorials in Washington, DC. Priority is given to terminally ill veterans from any of these wars.

Veterans are taken to see their memorials free of charge because of generous donations by individuals, businesses and organizations. Honor Flight Dayton is currently taking applications from WWII, Korean and Vietnam Era veterans. Top priority is given to World War II veterans, and veterans of all wars with a terminal illness, followed by Korean and Vietnam Era veterans.

Guardians accompany veterans on their trip to the memorials. Guardians provide assistance and help to all of the veterans to make sure their trip is as safe and enjoyable as possible. Guardians pay their own way to have the honor and privilege of escorting the veterans. The fee for guardians in 2019 will be $450 (tax deductible). All flights leave from the Dayton International Airport.

This program depends on volunteers. Be a part of the life-changing experience for those who have given so much.

Please download and complete the appropriate application and send it to the address listed on the form at the bottom of page two.
